Adam K. Oliver founded Tallwood Legal, LLC in 2005 and currently holds the position of Managing Director. Adam specializes in
the placement of associates and partners at top-tier regional, national and international law firms. He also works closely with in-house
legal departments to place attorneys in roles ranging from contract to general counsel positions.
Prior to launching Tallwood Legal, Adam worked as a corporate and securities lawyer with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston, and also spent time with Gunderson Dettmer LLP and DLA Piper US LLP. Adam’s practice focused on M&A transactions, public and private securities work, and venture capital and private equity transactions and financings.
Mr. Oliver holds his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A. in Environmental Science from Connecticut College, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. He also spent a year playing basketball in Norway for the club team Baerums Verk IF.
Terri LeComte earned her BA from Rutgers College and her JD from Boston University Law School where she was an editor on the American Journal of Law & Medicine. She started her recruiting career in 2012 as Director of Legal Recruiting with Tallwood Legal. She then spent 2 years recruiting with WinterWyman, first with the Software Engineering team, and then as a Consultant and Recruiter with the Executive Search practice. She now re-joins Tallwood as a Managing Director and is excited to take her expertise back to the legal world.
Terri has her BA from Rutgers College and her JD from Boston University Law School where she was an editor on the American Journal of Law & Medicine.

George W. O'Connell is a Director of Legal Recruiting at Tallwood Legal. George specializes in the placement of attorneys at
top tier regional, national, and international law firms, as well as in-house counsel positions.
Prior to joining Tallwood Legal, George was a lawyer in both the private and public sectors. Upon graduating from law school, George worked for three and a half years as an associate at the New York office of Shearman & Sterling LLP. His practice centered on antitrust law, particularly with respect to advising clients on transactions reviewed by domestic and international competition authorities. Following a clerkship at the Connecticut Supreme Court, George also spent over nine years as an Assistant Attorney General in Connecticut. In this role, he represented the State in antitrust investigations and successfully litigated in state and federal court against some of the largest law firms in the country.
George received his J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2001 and his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1997. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, running, and traveling.
